I’m a NorCal transplant living in Arizona. I work part-time as the music director and accompanist at an ELCA Lutheran church, and I teach piano classes and private lessons for a community arts school in my area. Somewhere in between these two jobs, I’m also attempting to complete a masters degree in musicology.
I spent my formative growing-up years in the evangelical Christian bubble (Baptist high school, Christian liberal arts college, the works) and now I’m commencing my post-college years by working for a liberal Lutheran church. The combination of these two things has resulted in a half-liberal, half-conservative me. I’m still searching and discovering though, because the Christian life—indeed the human life—is a process.
This blog exists as a place to air out ideas and thoughts, especially on the topics of music and faith. I often blog about other things as well, like books, cooking, sewing, and general crafty-ness. Feel free to comment if you feel so inclined!
